There are a range of exciting careers on offer in the games industry. Hear directly from industry the opportunities available ranging from artists, UX, operations and audio to name a few.
In this session we hear from people just starting out in the industry and the different pathways they have taken to get there.
Over the lunchtime break you can speak directly to local studios and get advice on your CV & portfolios. Also if you have any questions there will be a team of people who actually work in the industry on hand to answer them. Bookings for CV or Portfolio reviews can be booked on the day at the registration desk and will be allocated on a first come first served basis to avoid disappointment.
This is your chance to meet the studios through our expo. Exhibitors include; Lab42, Lively – a Key Words Studio, Third Kind Games, Sumo Leamington, Ubisoft Leamington, Maverick Games, RiVR. Please note there is no onsite catering at the venue put just a short stroll away is the town of Leamington which has lots of food options, or visit the Avery cafe in Jephson Gardens right next to the venue and bring back some delicious treats which can be consumed in the networking areas at the venue. A bar for refreshments will be available on site.
