Where is the event?

Interactive Futures 2019 will be predominantly held at the Royal Spa Centre, Newbold Terrace, Leamington Spa CV32. A whole host of other events will be taking place throughout the town centre too.

I’m traveling from outside of Leamington Spa, how do I get there?

By Train: Royal Leamington Spa railway station is just a 5 minute walk from the town centre and there are fast and regular services to Coventry and Birmingham, as well as Chiltern Railways connections to London and a Virgin Cross-Country service.

By Bus: Regular bus services are run by Travel West Midlands and Stagecoach Midland Red between Leamington Spa and Coventry, Kenilworth, Warwick and Stratford. For up-to-date timetable and fare information, visit www.travelwm.co.uk and www.centro.org.uk

Which day should I attend?

If you love games and creativity we’re sure that you’ll enjoy the whole programme, however to break it down:
Thursday is a more academically-focussed day during which there will be numerous talks and thought leadership pieces.
Friday is more focussed on supporting those already working within the games dev industry (irrespective of the role you have)
Saturday is for those not yet in the industry and looking to start or for those who simply love games.

Are children welcome?

Yes, children are welcome on Saturday and there will be a number of sessions and activities for them to get involved in.

Do children require a ticket?

Yes, children over 5 will require a ticket.

Will food & drink be available?

Yes, food & drinks will be available from the Royal Spa Centre as well as on-site catering outlets. The venue is also in the centre of town and within easy reach of numerous restaurants, cafes and bars.

What games will I be able to play at the event?

Keep your eye on the programme information and expo exhibitors for more info on what playable games will be available at the event.

Who are the organisers of Interactive Futures?

Interactive Futures is jointly organised by Warwick District Council, Warwickshire County Council and Coventry & Warwickshire LEP, alongside some key industry players from Silicon Spa.

Where is the best place to stay?

We have joined with a number of local hotels to offer discounted accommodation for event attendees. More info coming soon.

Where can I park?

The nearest car park to The Royal Spa Centre is Rosefield Street (P7) located a few feet away, just across the road. It has 47 spaces, 2 designated disabled bays, and 1 motorcycle bay. It is open 24 hours a day and the maximum charge for the car park is £4. Alternatively, the roads adjacent to the Royal Spa Centre have plenty of pay-and-display on-street parking spaces.
