Introducing Interactive Futures
The very first instalment of Interactive Futures is set to kick off on Thursday 31 January with 3 days of games action, education, industry events and fun heading to Leamington Spa. The Royal Spa Centre will play host to the majority of the events and sessions taking place over the 3 days with both industry professionals and consumers having the opportunity to purchase tickets and get involved.
Why Leamington Spa? Otherwise known as “Silicon Spa”, Leamington Spa is one of the UK’s largest games clusters and employs over 2500 highly skilled people, equating to over 10% of the UK total in games development. With an established history in game development spanning 30 years, the local area is currently home to over 60 studios and the uniquely skilled talent pool in the area includes key industry names such as Codemasters, SEGA and Ubisoft.
