Billy Brick is Languages Centre Manager and principal lecturer in the School of Humanities at Coventry University. He is also Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists.
He teaches German language, Materials and Syllabus Design in a Multimedia World to undergraduate students and Computer Assisted Language Learning at masters level and has been involved with numerous JISC/HEA projects including the Coventry On-line Writing Lab (COWL) and the Humbox, an OER project for the humanities.
He has published numerous articles in the field of technology and language learning and his current research focus is in social media and language learning and apply evaluating mobile-assisted language learning apps.
